Jack Compton

Jack was born in Bristol, VA and grew up in Kingsport, TN where he attended Dobyns Bennett High School. He graduated from The University of Tennessee with a BS in Electrical Engineering and did post-graduate studies in Industrial Management. Jack took early retirement from Eastman Chemical Company in 1994 after a 34 year carrier in engineering and purchasing. He has been a resident of the Charlottesville area since 2004, moving to be near family. He is widowed with three grown children, Cindy, Mike and Cam, three grandchildren, one great grandchild. Jack entered the air purification field in June 2009 as an independent distributor for EcoQuest International, theHealthy Living Company.

EcoQuest produces a range of air purification products using technology developed by NASA to purify air in space capsules and the international space stations The devices effectively eliminate odors and kill bacteria, viruses and mold. They are produced in a 400,000 square foot facility in Bristol, VA. EcoQuest was recently acquired by Aerus Corporation, which also own Electrolux vacuum cleaners and several other firms. Aerus is headquartered in Dallas, TX.
